Educational Videos on Day Trading

By Lawrence

Spent my spare time learning and testing various screen capturing software for weeks now. As I explained back in February, I was clueless on what it takes to produce videos. After working on it here and there a few hours a week, I am slowly getting better with the tools and the production process. I am now comfortable with making videos.

The big question now is what kind of videos I should produce for

I have seen many trading related videos. Not that many, however, I find useful. I’ll rather do something meaningful than making boring comments. I guess it all boils down to quality vs. quantity.

So what do you think?

What kind of video you like to see?

Drop me a line to help me decide.

    G’day Lawrence,

I appreciate the idea, but I would agree with you. Trading videos are IMHO, not very useful. They never seem to cover the intended topic well enough and take too long to convey the message. I prefer to read an article with some screenshots/images to convey the intent, and I think you do that well.

    With kind regards,

It’d be cool to watch some videos, as it can sometime convey your message more clearly than a blog post or chart. Produce what you think will set your videos apart from others. Maybe you can start out by answering some of your more popular trader questions you get asked often or something.

There are indeed several concepts in trading that are much better off illustrated in animation.

Lots of short “punchy” videos are better than these 1-2 hour long webinars on YouTube, there are so many now, I just don’t have the time to watch them…Plus you have to skip the first 15 minute introduction every time…better to have a separate video for that. Some good animations/graphics and bullet points always grabs people’s attention as with any type of presentation.
