    Usually the indicators are stored in the experts/indicators folder under your metatrader4 application folder. Metatrader 4 does not follow the Win7/8 convention storing data in the document folder.

    1. You need to close MetaTrader first
    2. Copy indicator file into the indicator folder
    3. Start MetaTrader
    4. The indicator should now be available
    4a. If it is not you need to open the indicator file and compile it once. Some older version MetaTrader has this problem
